New York, NY (October 22, 2015) – The winners of The 2015 Davey Awards have been announced by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. With nearly 4,000 entries from across the US and around the world, the Davey Awards recognized mLevel as a silver award winner in the Interactive Multimedia Training category with “VMware’s mLevel Mission.”
mLevel was chosen as an ideal training solution by VMware to enrich the attendee experience at a recent sales event and to reinforce the information that was covered during the twenty-seven sessions facilitated at the conference. In result, two mLevel missions were developed and launched. First, a preliminary mission was created to promote interest in mLevel and the upcoming event. The subsequent mission comprised of twenty-seven different activities (each corresponding with a different session to test players on key takeaways).
Furthermore, attendees could access mLevel via a web player or a mobile device, which gave users flexibility when playing the “bite-sized” games that last less than five minutes. In addition, VMware utilized mLevel’s external leaderboard functionality, which cultivated friendly competition amid the sales professionals. Due to the rapid and repetitive nature of mLevel’s learning system, attendees were able to master the objectives of more sessions than they could physically attend. Users benefited most through repeated exposure to the content and by playing the games when their schedules allowed.
